6pm - 7pm
20th March 2025
Free, but pre-booking is essential
Due to the age of this 16th century building, sadly this tour is not fully accessible as there are a number of narrow staircases.

Join us for a tour of iconic objects at the Museum of Edinburgh which will have a BSL interpreter present. Once described as the ‘treasure box’ of the city, the Museum of Edinburgh is surprising at every turn. The museum is far bigger than it appears from the street and is packed full of the city’s history. On this tour, join Collections Information Officer Nico Tyack as we explore a few of the best loved, little known or just bizarre stories from the city’s 900 history.

Please meet at the Museum of Edinburgh reception desk on the ground floor.

Please note this tour is strictly restricted to our visitors who require a BSL interpreter.
