Help shape one of the most iconic buildings that make up the historic Edinburgh cityscape!
The Scottish Parliament building, at the bottom of the Royal Mile, is celebrating its 20th anniversary by adding new quotations to the Canongate Wall. The wall contains a range of Scottish stones, letter-cut with 26 quotations, of relevance to Scotland and the Parliament, ranging from well-loved pieces of poetry to proverbs and psalms.
These new quotations will be provided by Liz Lochhead, Jackie Kay, and Kathleen Jamie. All three have been the Scots Makar, or National Poet for Scotland.
With input from the Scottish Poetry Library, a selection of their poems has been shortlisted – and now it’s over to you to make the final choices!
