Join us at the St James Quarter for an exhibition which tells the story of the Made For His Praise journey. It all began 11 years ago with four friends and a piano in a living room in a family home in Edinburgh. From there, MFHP grew and thrived, culminating in an open air eCity Worship Festival at the Ross Bandstand in Princes Street Gardens, with hundreds of people, old and young, from diverse backgrounds and cultures, united by the power of music!

Organiser

Made For His Praise

MFHP logo
MFHP (Made For His Praise) is an Edinburgh based gospel musical charity group that brings people from different works of life together for an inspiring musical experience, creating a sense of hope and community through music. eCity Worship, our annual musical festival which is held within the beautiful grounds of Princes Gardens, is inspired by the long-standing traditions of religion, worship, and community spirit in Edinburgh, which are firmly ingrained in the city’s rich Christian background. eCity seeks to honour and revive the spiritual and cultural legacy that has influenced Edinburgh over the ages by incorporating aspects of this past. We also honour the important contributions to this history made by Edinburgh’s multi- ethnic communities.

We actively involve local churches and faith groups in the eCity event. This collaboration ensures that the event resonates with the Christian values and traditions that are integral to Edinburgh’s identity. By partnering with these organisations, we create a bridge between the past and the present, fostering a renewed sense of community and shared purpose.
