Join us for a lecture exploring life in the City at the time the last owner Mrs Reid would have lived.

Using archive material which documents aspects of 1920s Edinburgh, we’ll take a tour on a charabanc to look at life in the city. Along the way we’ll explore how technology and transport was evolving, how this impacted on the day- to-day lives of Edinburghers; the fashions they followed, challenges they faced and how they sought fun in their leisure time.

Jackie Sangster is Learning Manager at Historic Environment Scotland who works with archival records including Scran.ac.uk.
