The 12th Edinburgh Traditional Building Festival will be held from Tuesday 20 August to Friday 23 August at Acheson House. The festival will ‘Celebrate Edinburgh’s Traditional Buildings’ with a series of free talks, demonstrations and tours to raise the profile of the skills, materials and knowledge required to repair and maintain traditional buildings so they can be enjoyed for future generations.

10.30am - 11.30am; 12pm - 1pm; 1.30pm - 2.30pm. (Three different events every day)

Whilst the garden of Acheson House (used for the demonstrations) is accessible, the only accessible toilets are in the Museum of Edinburgh. The talks will take place in the Museum of Edinburgh, and the room used is accessed by stairs only so recommended for people with no mobility problems.
