Accessible toilets, ground level venue, wheelchair access, sensory baskets To enhance accessibility, we will create a transcript of the walking tour so that those unable to join the tour can still benefit from the information shared. All are welcome to join the celebration event which follows at the Grassmarket Community Project, even if they are unable to join the walking tour. “Innovation Painting” will be a seated event and will be held at The Melting Pot on our ground floor, which is wheelchair and walking stick friendly.

In October 2024 we will host walking tours of Edinburgh with a special focus on innovation history of the city. In March 2025, we will revisit our learnings from this event with The Melting Pot’s first Sip and Paint evening, channelling our new knowledge of Edinburgh’s innovation history into creative interpretation.
