Tales of the City will be an evening of eight new short plays by Edinburgh-based Playwrights written specifically around the theme of Edinburgh 900. Produced by PenPal Productions, the event will bring together a group of Edinburgh creative practitioners from the theatre community who will consider what Edinburgh and its heritage means to them. This innovative event will explore diverse ways in which this can be translated to the stage, creating a legacy of new plays inspired by Edinburgh 900.
Our event will be held at the Scottish Storytelling Centre, a vibrant heritage and community space in the heart of the historic Royal Mile, a unique historic venue making it the perfect environment for the theme of Edinburgh 900.
