Getting around

If you’ve been lucky enough to get tickets for one of the matches taking place at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium, you’ll find the venue easy to reach from the city centre. On foot, it is approximately 45 minutes’ walk from Edinburgh city centre and 20 minutes’ walk from Haymarket train station. Lothian Buses operate multiple routes across Edinburgh that include Murrayfield. Plan your journey and follow travel updates with their app. Running every 7 minutes in both directions, Edinburgh Trams run from Edinburgh Airport to Newhaven, with a stop at the stadium. Alternatively, disembark at the Balgreen stop and walk the short distance to the stadium. Tram tickets must be purchased before boarding.
