The Bluebird Café in Canonmills offers Tennessee inspired dining with locally sourced Scottish produce.

Their delicious Tennessee Buttermilk Pancakes are a must try. With a variety of toppings, including maple, maple and bacon, blueberry and fruit, bacon and poached eggs or BBQ pork fried egg pancakes, deciding can be tricky.

Stack and Still

With a name like Stack and Still, this large restaurant on Rose Street in the city centre, specialises in, yes you guessed it – pancakes!

Choose from buttermilk, buckwheat, protein, gluten free or low fat pancakes, followed by a choice of size, then the fun really begins…. With an astonishing range of toppings, whether your taste is sweet or savoury, the humble pancake has never tasted so good.

A completely vegan café in Bruntsfield, Seeds for the Soul is famous for its brunch offering, especially their sweet and savoury pancakes. The tall stack of soft and sweet pancakes with maple syrup, banana and strawberry is especially delicious.
