Taking place at The Scottish Café & Restaurant on the Mound, get ready to experience great food, great music and great company.
Each month brings a fresh new menu, crafted with the finest local ingredients, which reflect the best of the season. Menus are revealed four weeks in advance.
Once dinner wraps up, the party begins! A talented ceilidh band will take the stage, filling the room with foot-stomping reels and jigs that will have everyone up and dancing. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a total beginner, everyone is welcome.
The dress code for this event is smart.
The restaurant can be accessed via one of two entrances. Either via East Princes Street Gardens, which has a wheelchair accessible path descending from Princes Street and Waverley Bridge; or via the back of the Royal Scottish Academy building, on the Mound precinct just opposite the National Gallery building. There are no steps or slopes within the restaurant. There are a number of tables with a clear path and significant space around them. The venue has two disabled toilets.
Ceilidh Supper Club takes place on 26 September, 24 October, and 28 November 2025. For details and booking information go to Ceilidh Supper Club.
