After captivating audiences across Europe, the celebrated immersive experience of Enlightenment is arriving in Edinburgh, set within the iconic and architecturally stunning McEwan Hall at The University of Edinburgh.
Journey through the shifting moods of the seasons as music and imagery flow around you. Discover spring, summer, autumn, and winter from a dazzling new perspective. Throughout this 30-minute multisensory spectacle, Vivaldi’s timeless Four Seasons is paired with mesmerising, choreographed projections that transform the historic hall into a radiant, living canvas.
Divided into scenes, each is designed to be enjoyed while seated on comfortable chairs or bean bags, allowing guests to gaze up at the projections that adorn the ceiling and walls.
McEwan Hall, which is located on Teviot Place in Southside, is wheelchair accessible.
Enlightenment takes place on selected dates from 31 January to 15 March 2026. Advance booking is required.
