Taking place on the afternoon of Sunday 16 November 2025 in partnership with QMU Gaelic Football Men’s Team, Irish Heritage Day celebrates Irish culture through language, music, dance, storytelling, and sport, with free entry and activities suitable for all ages.

The day kicks off with Irish language classes, before traditional Irish storytelling sessions bring legends and folklore to life. At 2pm, the venue will screen Ireland’s World Cup qualifier against Hungary, with a dedicated viewing party in The Mezze. Irish dancing performances and classes will also take place, giving attendees the chance to watch talented dancers and learn the steps themselves.

Throughout the day, guests can enjoy live traditional Irish music, sample authentic Irish food, enjoy an “Irish Favourites” menu including Malones’ famous spice bags and Irish beef stew, and participate in a Teelings Whiskey barrel-top tasting session exploring the craft and history of Irish whiskey.

The event is free to attend with no booking required, except for the Irish language classes which have limited capacity. Walk-ins are welcome throughout the day. Find out more and view the full day of events on Irish Heritage Day.
