LOVE Gorgie Farm

This small city farm is a surprising thing to find in the middle of a busy city like Edinburgh. The farm has long been a place of escape and education for families around Edinburgh. You can visit and meet with animals including goats, cows, chickens, guinea pigs, ferrets, ducks and even a tortoise.

As well as the farm there’s a café and an events space, so it’s perfect for a day out with the family.

Tynecastle Park stadium

In the heart of Gorgie you’ll find Tynecastle Park, home of one of Edinburgh’s local teams, Heart of Midlothian Football Club.

As well as the team’s regular games in the Scottish Premier League, the stadium runs regular tours, and has a museum and heritage trail.

You can check what’s on at the stadium on the Hearts FC website >

Fountain Park

A stone’s throw from Dalry, through the underpass beneath the West Approach Road, you can find Fountain Park.

With adventure golf, laser tag, a bowling alley, and a trampoline park, you won’t be short of things to do! There’s also a Cineworld cinema and loads of popular restaurants like Five Guys and Nandos.
