Roman Scotland: Life on the Edge of Empire – Resident Preview

This November, a major new exhibition at the National Museum of Scotland reveals what life was like on Rome’s most northerly frontier.

Bringing together recent research, significant loans from across Europe and previously unseen archaeological discoveries from Scotland, Roman Scotland: Life on the Edge of Empire will tell new stories of Roman occupation and reshape our understanding of Scotland’s relationship with the Roman world.

Enter now for the chance to win a pair of tickets to the private view of Roman Scotland: Life on the Edge of Empire at the National Museum of Scotland on the evening of Thursday 12 November 2026. Enjoy complimentary drinks and canapés, and be one of the first to visit this new exhibition before it opens to the public.
