Join us in celebration of Edinburgh 900 years of history! Our “Roots for Routes” programme centres on celebrating and honouring heritage and culture, helping us, as individuals and communities, grow towards the future.
This is an one-off event brought to you by MCFB Project ‘Bright Choices’. The first half of the programme will be an interactive information session on stress and stress management. The second half of the programme will be a chair yoga relaxation class that includes mild stretching and strengtheningmovements, as well as breathing and meditation exercises. No prior experience is needed. Participation is optional and attendees are encouraged to go at their own pace.
Whether you are looking for emotional regulation, building resilience, or simply a relaxing time, you are welcome to join us! For this session, we welcome adults (18+) of any background. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes!

MCFB has been supporting BAME families in Edinburgh for 26 years. We and generations of our service users grow with Edinburgh, the capital city that has a long history of providing refuge for people who are dispersed due to persecution and hardships. MCFB walks alongside people from very diverse backgrounds and supports them in finding their position and voice in their new lives in Edinburgh.
