Between the Echoes is the latest book by the well-known Lewis-born poet and writer, Angus Macmillan.

Compelling and sensitive, it describes his upbringing in the Gaelic-speaking crofting village of Lemreway, viewed through the prisms of the four elements – earth, air, fire and water – to explore how we come to understand a sense of place, home and belonging.

There is level access to all spaces within the Scottish Storytelling Centre, including the theatre. The venue is wheelchair friendly, with accessible toilets. The ground floor accessible toilet has baby changing facilities. Assistance dogs are welcome.

Between the Echoes Book Launch takes place on 27 May 2026. This event is free to attend, but booking is required.
