This is an inspiring and informative afternoon for anyone studying sport, working in sports-related community organisations, and for everyone who wants to see sport continue to expand its beneficial impact across all contexts of community activity.

Participants will hear from three Professors from the university’s School of Applied Sciences to hear about their work.

There is also the option to view the university’s sports labs prior to the talk (registration required).

Napier Talks: Building Communities Through Sport takes place at the Sighthill Campus of Edinburgh Napier University. The venue is wheelchair accessible, with disabled toilets, ground level entry and lifts.

If travelling to the campus by public transport, Lothian Buses services 3, 21, 25, 34, 35 and 36 all stop nearby on Calder Road (Napier University stop). The nearest Edinburgh Trams stop is Bankhead, followed by a walk of around 10 minutes to the university.
