Containing more than 5,000 artworks, the City Art Centre’s collection charts the history of the visual arts in Scotland from the 17th century to present day. Each year the collection grows through generous donations by artists, cultural organisations and members of the public.

This latest exhibition showcases some of these new additions, including works by Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, John Bellany, Robert Blomfield, David Cass, Victoria Crowe, Ian Hamilton Finlay, Jessie M. King, Bet Low, Joseph Noel Paton and Robin Philipson.

With free entry, Gifted: New Acquisitions at the City Art Centre runs from 12 September 2026 to 06 June 2027. Booking not required, simply drop-in.
