Running throughout August 2026, Festival at St Mary’s: Recitals includes a series of free musical performances:

  • Lunchtime Recitals (07 to 31 August). Running over lunchtime, hear recitals from some of the best classical musicians in the city, with different performers each day.
  • Organ Recitals (09 to 23 August). Come and hear three of the UK’s finest organists, Duncan Ferguson, Imogen Morgan and William Fox, performing three recitals of popular organ works from the last 400 years.
  • Piano Afternoons (13 to 22 August). Pianists from across Europe play a series of piano recitals on the Cathedral’s magnificent Steinway.
  • Afternoon Originals (25 to 29 August). Enjoy a variety of music genres – from album launches to electronics.

St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral is located on Palmerston Place at Edinburgh’s West End. Edinburgh Trams travel regularly to the area, with the closest stop being West End.
