Running over select dates in November and December 2024, Holyrood Distillery are hosting a variety of events that are sure to get you in the festive spirit.
On 21 November, Festive Series: Sip & Paint Evening invites guests to unwind and get creative in the cosy Distillery lounge for an evening of watercolours and delicious drinks. Hosted by the distillery’s resident artist Neil, learn the art of watercolours and have a go at creating a masterpiece or two. All painting materials are provided, and are yours to take home at the end of the evening.
Learn to craft three delicious cocktails that will really impress your friends and family at Festive Series: Cocktail Making Masterclass. Available on 28 November and 12 December, in this hands-on workshop, expert drinks creatives will guide you through the art of cocktail making, sharing tips and tricks for crafting both classic and contemporary festive drinks. From warming winter spices to refreshing seasonal flavours, you’ll explore a variety of ingredients that will elevate your holiday celebrations.
An exclusive collaboration event between Holyrood Distillery and Pilot Brewery, Festive Series: Holyrood x Pilot Tasting invites guests to enjoy a guided tasting journey featuring three delicious beers from Pilot Brewery, each perfectly complemented with a specially chosen single malt whisky from Holyrood Distillery. Join them on 05 December.
For the perfect pairing, don’t miss Festive Series: Whisky & Cheese Tasting. Running on 19 December, the evening starts with a warming hot toddy, before enjoying a leisurely walk through the distillery, hearing about their unique production processes. Then, settle down in the atmospheric Cask Room for a tutored tasting of Holyrood’s first four flagship releases, and indulge in a tasty selection of artisan cheeses sourced from local producers, served with crackers, festive fruits and chutneys.
The distillery has lift access to all tour areas. Seating is provided throughout the tour route, there is also an on-site wheelchair available for anyone requiring it during their visit. The service counter in the Visitor Centre shop (check-in desk) is an accessible height for wheelchair users. Fully accessible washroom facilities are available.
