A hidden underground venue steeped in centuries of stories, The Lost Close is running an intimate tasting experience celebrating 20 years of Kilchoman Distillery.
Founded in 2005 on Rockside Farm, Kilchoman revived the tradition of farm distilling on Islay after more than a century. Independently owned and family-run, Kilchoman crafts whisky entirely on-site, from barley to bottle – a rare commitment to authenticity and heritage.
This tasting experience features four exceptional Islay single malts from Kilchoman’s acclaimed range including Sanaig, Loch Gorm, 100% Islay and Machir Bay. During the tasting, Lost Close’s Storyteller will share the fascinating past of this secret venue, along with insights into Kilchoman’s journey and the rich traditions of whisky-making.
Please note, due to the venue’s historic it is not wheelchair accessible. It is not recommended for pregnant travellers or people with heart conditions.
Suitable for those aged 18 years+ Kilchoman 20th Anniversary Tasting takes place on the evening of 15 December 2025. Places are limited and should be booked in advance online.
