Landlines opens on 28 March 2026 and includes 35 new landscape and still life paintings which showcase the artist’s distinctive handling of line and colour and his considered observations of nature.

Each painting quietly celebrates the natural world. Whether exploring the changing seasonal light on a landscape, or the rich tones of a domestic still life, subjects spring to life on the canvas. The legacy of artist Joan Eardley can be felt in Andy’s paintings, with echoes of her palette and compositional choices clear in his work. This exhibition also coincides with a new exhibition celebrating Joan Eardley at the city’s Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.

Landlines: Andy Cross Solo Exhibition runs from 28 March to 12 April 2026, and is open to the public, with a private view on 28 March from 2pm to 4pm.
