William McGonagall (1825 – 1902) was a Scottish poet and public performer who gained notoriety as an extremely bad poet.

At this evening event hosted by the International Ghost Society, guests will be able to enjoy professional dramatic readings of his best-known works, and a short presentation on his life and many accomplishments.

McGonagall Night takes place in The Beehive Inn in the Grassmarket. Pre-booking is required and this event is open to those aged 18+years.
