Suitable for ages 2 years+ this fun performance is a great opportunity to experience ballet and music in one of the city’s grandest theatres.

The classic tale is reimaged with a cast of colourful characters. A playful Hare boasts about his speed, prompting the steady Tortoise to challenge him to a race. Despite doubts, Tortoise might just lead to a surprising outcome when Hare gets distracted along the way.

Coming to Edinburgh’s Festival Theatre for one day only, performances take place at 2pm and 4pm. The theatre is approximately 10 minutes’ walk from the east end of Princes Street. If travelling by public transport, Lothian Buses services 7, 14, 30, 31, 37 and 49 all run regular services to the area.
