Taking place on 15 June 2024, the Edinburgh Canal Festival will feature local businesses, organisations and local community groups that operate on or near the Union Canal. Visitors will have access to information about the organisations, their missions, and goals, and how to get involved or support their work.
There will be 5 zones stretching from the Lochrin Basin to Harrison Park West. Each of these will host a variety of activities, including dance performances, live music and art as well as refreshment stalls.
There is also the return of the Raft Race. Taking place between 2.30pm and 4.30pm next to Leamington Lift Bridge, registration is now open for entries via the festival website and participation is free. This year’s festival is partnering with Driftwood Adventure to provide a safe and fun way for people to get involved with having fun on the water.
