Don your kilt and walking boots, all while raising funds for Scottish charities, as Kiltwalk returns to Edinburgh.

Every year thousands of people take on the Kiltwalk challenge across any one of three distances in order to raise vital funds for a Scottish charity close to their heart. In 2022, Edinburgh Kiltwalk raised £2.1 million for over 500 charities.

Whether you want to take part to raise money, tick an item of the bucket list or reach a fitness goal, it will be worth every minute. If you’re not quite feeling up to entering, then why not line the streets across the route to shout and cheer on those taking part – your support which will be much appreciated.

With walks of three different lengths, participants will be able to choose from the following distances:

  • The Mighty Stride. A 20 mile route starting at Holyrood Park and finishing at BT Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium.
  • The Big Stroll. Covering 11 miles, this route begins at Fisherrow Links in Musselburgh, finishing at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium.
  • The Wee Wander. Ideal for all the family, this 5 mile walk leaves from victoria park, before travelling through the city and finishing at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium.
