A family-friendly community event, Porty Festival will take place over the May Bank Holiday weekend from Saturday 02 to Monday 04 May 2026.
The festival takes place at four locations across Portobello, and over the 3 days, features something for everyone to enjoy beside the seaside.
The full programme is yet to be announced, but is expected to include everything from a Makers’ Market and vintage clothing pop-up to a Dip & Sip (wild swimming and cocktails), a Cinnamon Bun Run and a fiercely-contested dog show.
Headlining the Saturday evening stage is one of Scotland’s most exciting and influential bands. Known for their bold fusion of traditional and contemporary influences, Mànran seamlessly combine English and Gaelic songs, with a dynamic mix of bagpipes, fiddle, accordion, whistle, and flute layered with guitars, drums, and bass – creating music that is deeply rooted in tradition, yet constantly evolving.
