Join magician, psychologist and writer Professor Richard Wiseman in a fascinating local history talk exploring Edinburgh’s magical history.

Around the turn of the 20th century, three remarkable magicians conjured up mystery and mayhem in Edinburgh. One was the most famous illusionist in the world, another perfected a trick that revolutionised magic, and the third was frequently asked to appear in the Edinburgh Sheriff Court.

In this evening event, hosted by The Corstorphine Trust, discover the strange but true tale of three intertwined lives.

Taking place at the Corstorphine Astoria Centre, the venue is fully accessible from Kirk Loan, is all on one level, and is a minute’s walk from St John’s Road and the nearest bus stop. The hall has disabled access and toilet facilities.

Tickets can be booked on The Magic of Edinburgh.
