Included in admission ticket

Not for the faint-hearted, brave visitors are invited to step into the shadows at the Edinburgh Dungeon this spring, as a chilling new experience, The Nun, arrives for a limited time.

Running from 28 March to 19 April 2026, this haunting encounter promises a spine-tingling day out, filled with suspense, storytelling, and terrifying twists around every corner.

Come face-to-face with Pearlin Jean – a nun whose story began with love in 1600s Paris, but ended in betrayal and tragedy in Scotland. In search of her lover, Lord Stewart of Allanbank, she instead uncovered deceit and abandonment. Crushed and left to die, she made a final vow not of forgiveness, but of vengeance, swearing to haunt the halls of Allanbank forever. Now, her spirit has risen once more. The seven souls sent to stop her have failed, and visitors must decide if they are brave enough to take their place.
