The Maiden is a compelling historical fiction novel based on the real life story of Christian Nimmo, also known as the White Lady of Corstorphine. Growing up in Corstorphine in Edinburgh, Kate was fascinated by this tragic tale and felt compelled to give a voice to the women involved.

Join The Corstorphine Trust  as they uncover the story behind the story, delving into the history, mystery, and creative journey that shaped this book.

Taking place at the Corstorphine Astoria Centre, the venue is fully accessible from Kirk Loan, is all on one level, and is a minute’s walk from St John’s Road and the nearest bus stop. The hall has disabled access and toilet facilities.
