Awakening the senses, sparking conversation and bringing together curious, like-minded people in one of Edinburgh’s most atmospheric hidden spaces, Whisky and Spirits: The Best of the West explores the relationship between Scotland’s west coast whiskies and the five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Spirit.

Each of the five carefully selected drams represents an element, inviting you to discover not only the whisky itself, but the energy, landscape and stories woven into the places from which it comes.

Journey through Campbeltown, Arran, Islay, Jura and Ardnamurchan, exploring how the rugged coastlines, wild seas, ancient traditions and natural forces of these regions have shaped their distinctive spirits. Along the way, share reflections on the elements, the character of each dram, and the deeper connections between people, place and whisky.

Whisky and Spirits: The Best of the West takes place on the evening of 22 October 2026. It is open to those aged 18+ years old, with advance booking required.
