As the weather gets warmer, why could be better than enjoying a family-favourite film in the grounds of one of Edinburgh’s stately homes.
Pack up a picnic, a blanket or camping chair and head to Dalkeith Country Park for a host of cinematic classics including Dirty Dancing, Frozen sing-along, Jurassic Park and Pretty Women.
Movie goers are welcome to bring their own food & drink (no glassware) or choose to buy something from the hot food stall or bar.
Dalkeith Country Park can be reached by Lothian Buses 3, 33 or 49 from Edinburgh city centre. The event will also have on-site parking. This is free for evening screenings; a £3.00 parking charge applies for daytime screenings.
The event takes place on level ground and is about 300 meters from the car park, which involves crossing some uneven terrain. Accessible parking spaces are available in this car park. On-site accessible toilet facilities will be provided.
