With three sports (rugby, hockey and netball), five bars, two music arenas, international DJs, and some of Scotland’s best street-food, this multi-sport festival has something for everyone.
From international stars competing at elite level, to mixing playing and partying in the social competitions, there is always excitement on and off the pitch. Teams can enter one of 13 competitions or enjoy some of Scotland’s finest street food and beer pitch-side while watching top class sport.
As official beer partner of the festival, Edinburgh’s Cold Town Beer will be pouring out support for three-day festival at The University of Edinburgh venue, which now attracts over 120 teams and 5,000 people over the weekend.
Edinburgh City 7s Festival takes place from 10 to 12 July 2026 at Peffermill Playing Fields.
