Following the Celtic Wheel of the Year (the quarterly seasons of Imbolc, Beltane, Lughnasadh and Samhuinn) the session will look forward to moon myths, lunar legends and cross-cultural stories, revealing themes of creation, fertility, cosmic joy, transformation, death and rebirth.
The first half of the evening is a performance in the Netherbow Theatre, followed by a social event in the Storytelling Court. Moonspinners is suitable for those aged 14+ years.
Come beforehand and enjoy a community meal of haggis, neeps and tatties from on-site Haggis Box. Free for all ticketholders, you can also make a pay-what-you-can donation to support the Edinburgh Food Project. The community meal will be served from 6pm to 7.15pm.
