Following the Celtic Wheel of the Year (the quarterly seasons of Imbolc, Beltane, Lughnasadh and Samhuinn) this session looks at moon myths, lunar legends and cross-cultural stories, revealing themes of creation, fertility, cosmic joy, transformation, death and rebirth.
The first half of the evening is a performance in the Netherbow Theatre, followed by a social event upstairs in the Storytelling Court. Moonspinners is suitable for those aged 14+ years.
There is level access to all spaces within the Scottish Storytelling Centre, including the theatre. The venue is wheelchair friendly, with accessible toilets. The ground floor accessible toilet has baby changing facilities. Assistance dogs are welcome.
