Supported by the RSA’s Blackadder Travel Award and the Hope Scott Trust, this work was made in response to the artist’s recent residency in Teotihuacan, Mexico, where she engaged in sacred site work and Toltec practices.
Coming off the heels of her recent certification as an art therapy practitioner, the exhibition is also an opportunity for Kirkpatrick to debut a new hybrid identity as artist, healer, and facilitator.
