This November, join Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity to raise vital funds by taking part in the Starlight Walk Edinburgh.
Taking place in the picturesque setting of Holyrood Park, against the backdrop of Arthur’s Seat, this 6km walk will start at 4pm. The route starts at South Hall Complex, University of Edinburgh and ends at South Hall.
Participants will be issued with 2 paper lanterns with LED candles to illuminate the sky, a walking in memory card and a Starlight Walk medal once crossing the finish line.
The route is all on pavements and fairly flat however it is challenging with a slight incline at the start. Comfortable trainers or walking shoes are recommended, as well as warm and waterproof clothing. If travelling to the venue by bus, Lothian Buses service 31 stops close to South Hall. Alternative routes include the 5, 7, 14, 29, 30, 35, 33, 37, 45 and 49 which stop on North Bridge and are a 10 minute walk along Holyrood Road.
