This November, the celebrated Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague will be performing in Edinburgh as part of their autumn 2026 UK tour.
Performed live by a chamber ensemble of the Prague-based orchestra, the programme frames Vivaldi’s four concertos – Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter – with four more favourites of the string repertoire: Mozart’s Eine kleine Nachtmusik, Bach’s Air on the G String, Pachelbel’s Canon in D and Handel’s Water Music.
Greyfriars Kirk, at the top of Candlemaker Row in the Old Town, is one of Edinburgh’s most historic churches and one of its finest concert spaces, with a clear, generous acoustic that suits Baroque strings perfectly.
