Inspired by some of the museum’s most exciting collections, the Curiosity Club is a chance for kids to explore the museum without their adult helpers through games, activities, and gallery visits.
Relaxed versions of the Curiosity Club are available from 2:30pm to 3:30pm. These sessions are particularly aimed at children with additional support needs, neurodivergent children or children with disabilities.
Regular Curiosity Club sessions are for children aged 7 to 11 years without their grown-ups present. Relaxed Curiosity Club sessions also recommend ages 7 to 11, but this is not a set age range and all children and families who think they might enjoy these sessions are welcome.
Parents/carers (up to two per participating child) are invited to stay and either join in with the activities or enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the foyer of the activity area.

These sessions are held at the National Museum of Scotland. There is level access to the Museum via the main doors to the Entrance Hall on Chambers Street and the Tower entrance at the corner of Chambers Street and George IV Bridge. Lifts are available to all floors of the museum, wheelchairs are also available for loan at no charge, and all assistance dogs are welcome.
