Grab your rubber ducks – Dalkeith Country Park is gearing up for the Doddie Duck Race! On Sunday 05 May 2024, join in the fun and cheer on your duck as they race down the River Esk.
Races begin at 11am and finish at 4pm with multiple races taking place throughout the day (last race is at 3pm).
Participants can adopt their very own duck for the race, with all ticket proceeds going towards supporting My Name’5 Doddie Foundation and their mission to tackle Motor Neuron Disease (MND).
They’ll also be a whole host of activities throughout the day, from tasty treats from local food vendors to face painting, live music and a prize raffle. The iconic Doddie tractor will also be on site for some fun family photo opportunities.
Tickets are £5.00 per duck and can be purchased in advance from the Dalkeith Country Park website.
