Inspired by Johnny Ray Ryder Jr’s The Oak Tree Poem and a verse from Caitlin Matthews’ book Celtic Devotional: Daily Prayers and Blessings, participants are invited to stretch their roots in the green earth.
Taking place at St James the Less Church Hall and Garden in Penicuik, part of the morning will be spent in the church’s garden and labyrinth. The workshop is carefully designed to offer you space to move, to reflect and to connect.
Participants should bring a yoga mat or towel for indoor activities, warm, weather-appropriate clothes and shoes for walking the labyrinth, writing materials, a cushion or shawl for sitting on, and an umbrella, if you wish, if it is raining. Refreshments will be provided.
Tickets are available on a sliding scale. Find out more and book your place on Roots Stretched in the Green Earth.
