Just once a year, Yotties’ Week is your chance to meet Britannia’s former crew (Yotties) as they once again don their white overalls and return to their beloved Britannia.

As they are painting, scrubbing, sanding and polishing, come hear their memories, and discover what it was like to live and work on this floating royal palace as they sailed around the world.

4 men in white overalls standing on the deck of a ship.

The ship’s five highly accessible decks are open for you to explore, with your choice of audio guide, in 36 languages, BSL/ASL tablet or Braille script. Come rain or shine, Britannia is all-weather visit, with a refreshing breath of fresh sea air in between.

For an extra special moment, head up to the top of the ship to the Royal Deck Tearoom where hearty soups, filling sandwiches, cake and golden scones await.

What’s even better, an Annual Pass is included with your ticket, so you can come back for free for 12 months. Berthed at Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre in Leith, The Royal Yacht Britannia can be reached via Edinburgh Trams (alight at Ocean Terminal stop), or Lothian Buses services 10, 16, 34 or 35.
