This December, soak up the special surroundings of Rosslyn Chapel during an candlelight evening visit.
Discover all about this remarkable building, which was founded in 1446 as a family chapel, during a short talk by the Chapel’s Guides. Explore the building’s rich history, then explore yourself, using a map to find the main points of interest and key carvings.
The visitor centre and shop will be open, offering the ideal place to pick out some special Christmas gifts. Then enjoy some seasonal refreshments (included in entrance fee).
A free guidebook will be available for each visiting household. Christmas Candlelit Visit takes place on selected evenings between 13 and 28 December 2023. All tickets should be booked in advance online. Rosslyn Chapel is 7 miles from Edinburgh. Lothian Buses service 37 takes around 45 to 60 minutes from the city centre. The bus comes into Roslin village and the Chapel is just a few minutes’ walk away.
