Following the success of 2025’s inaugural event, the Edinburgh Tartan Parade returns in 2026.
Bringing together 2,500 participants, including pipe bands, clans, dancers and musicians from across Scotland, this vibrant celebration showcases the country’s rich heritage, tartans, culture and inclusivity.
The parade begins at 1pm on the city’s iconic Royal Mile, before weaving its way down Cockburn Street, onto Waverley Bridge and East Princes Street Gardens, culminating at the Mound Precinct.
This year’s event also includes a Celebration Concert at the city’s Usher Hall, where guests can enjoy the music of the Red Hot Chilli Pipers and Ally the Piper.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich traditions of Scotland.
