For Pints of Knowledge on 26 July 2026 there are three different speakers to choose from. The speaker will give an engaging talk for about 40 minutes, followed by audience Q&A. It is informal and social, set in Malones, Haymarket where you can grab a drink, meet interesting people, and enjoy big ideas in a relaxed setting.

- 12:00pm, Formula 1 expert (previous Head of Engineering at Alpine F1) and former RAF Search & Rescue pilot, Sebastian Sheppard presents ‘The F1 Mindset’.
- 2:00pm, internationally recognised human rights lawyer Mahnoor Omer presents ‘Patriarchy and the Law: 10 Case Laws That Changed Women’s Rights’.
- 4:00pm, political scientist Fraser McMillan presents insights from the Scottish Election Study.
