Marking the transition from Summer to Winter, Samhuinn Fire Festival celebrates the arrival of the Celtic New Year with a dazzling mix of fire, drumming, acrobatics and theatre.
Telling the story of the overthrowing of Summer by Winter with a dramatic battle between the mythical Summer and Winter Kings, Samhuinn is a contemporary revival of the ancient Celtic celebration, told through a spectacular performance of music and dance and immersive theatre.
Organised by Beltane Fire Society, the festival takes place under Arthur’s Seat in Holyrood Park, and will last from 7pm to 10pm.
As this is an outdoor performance, please dress according to the weather.
