As well as discovering more about George Heriot, who founded the famous Edinburgh school in 1628, guests will also be able to see the historic Quadrangle and original entrance to the school.

Additional highlights include the heritage corner of the Old School building, featuring the magnificent Chapel and the exclusive Council Room, which continues to serve its original purpose to this day.

Tours last 1 hour and are available in English. As part of the tour takes place outdoors, please dress according to the weather.

Please be aware that dogs are not allowed on this tour. Only accessibility dogs are permitted.

While the school is an A-listed building, adaptations will be made to make sure the tour is accessible. Accessible car parking is available upon request.
