Opened in 1998, Edinburgh Central Mosque is the city’s main mosque and cultural centre for the resident Muslim community. Today, it continues to serve the city, alongside fostering bonds of mutual understanding and integration with the wider Scottish community.
The building comprises a men's prayer hall (capacity of 800); women's prayer hall (capacity of 100); Wudu area; library and multipurpose hall.
