Join The Wild Commons for a relaxing, guided afternoon forage where you’ll learn how to identify safe edible plants growing along Edinburgh’s coast. Enjoy freshly brewed wild teas while discovering stories, folklore, and practical skills you can use on future walks.

The session will start at Magdalene Drive bus stop, before visiting the local area, and finishing at Figgate Park for a cup of locally sourced tea. The distance covered is about 2K, on level ground. The walk can be British Sign Language (BSL) interpreted – please inquire with the event organiser directly.

As the event takes place outdoors, make sure you dress for the weather, including a rain jacket and sturdy waterproof boots.
