Lothian Gaelic Choir was formed in 1985 and draws its membership from across Edinburgh and the Lothians. A regular competitor at the Royal National Mòd, Scotland’s premier Gaelic festival, they have enjoyed numerous successes, including winning the coveted Lovat and Tullibardine Shield in 2018, and the Puirt-a-beul competition in 2015, 2018, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
The choir appear regularly on BBC Alba and BBC Radio nan Gàidheal, have their own album, Dualchas ar Dùthcha, and perform across the country.
Lothian Gaelic Choir Spring Concert takes place on 25 April 2026 at Morningside United Church. Tickets, which are priced at £10.00 per person (under 16s admitted free) can be purchased in advance online or on the door on the night.
